How the Future Becomes the Present

Advent is perhaps the church’s purest expression of hope. Amidst a season of cold and darkness, we return to the central promise of God – to be with us, to come as our Rescuer. In this Advent series we look deeply in to the practice of hope, how to hear again God’s assurances of salvation and to press forward in faithful action even in the moments the darkness feels unending.
