Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, March 4th at 6:30PM at Canvas (and over Zoom). We are reading, Headshot, by Rita Bullwinkel (recommended to us by Steve Manos). Headshot is one of the Best Books of 2024, a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and Longlisted for the Booker Prize. It’s a novel about young teen female boxers, and it uses the form of a sports novel to explore larger issues, reflecting on the ways that lives are consciously and unconsciously lived.
