A Primer on Christian Nationalism: What It Is, Why It’s Not Christian and What We Can Do!
Since January 6th, the phrase “Christian Nationalism” has become well known. For some it is a badge of honor. For others it is a badge of horror. Somewhere in between is a story that at this moment in time it is good for Christians to know. On the one hand, many of those espousing these beliefs are fellow Christians. On the other hand, what is being espoused is hard to square with the teachings of Jesus. We will try to steer a course through this with the expectation of coming to understand this phenomenon and perhaps how to respond. Rev. Mike Regele will be teaching this 4-part series at Canvas on Sundays after worship in October.
